In 2001, I was exposed to Peter Jackson’s Academy Award winning epic, The Fellowship of the Ring, and since then I have never looked back.  I read The Hobbit as a child and loved it, but the films inspired me to read The Lord of the Rings and beyond.  I have read almost everything I could get my hands on written by or about J.R.R. Tolkien.  Now I am a student with the Mythgard Institute, powered by Signum University, an online source of higher education which prides itself on its Master’s program in Language and Literature, founded by the Tolkien Professor, Dr. Corey Olsen.  Since the expansion of my Tolkien knowledge, I have been compelled to share these profound thoughts of the great Father of Fantasy and this page is exclusively for that purpose.  My current project is a critical analysis of the New Line Cinema films by Jackson and appreciating them alongside the books.
